The same hardware used by Berzerk was also used in the sequel, Frenzy. The only difference I believe was the ROM boards. However, there is a conversion document available on the web to run both Frenzy and Berzerk. See the link below.

If you're running Berzerk or Frenzy on a switching power supply, you have
to jumper diode CR26 (near the battery) to convince it to power up.
If you've done this already, and the game is still not powering up, there is something else wrong with your set up.
